About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2-3 years License: RN degree Certifications: None Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in the tech position, not just circulating if RN applicant. Description: Orientation occurs twice monthly. Facility has 355 beds and includes various specialized centers. Features a Level 3 NICU, an emergency department, inpatient rehab, and a surgical suite. The unit comprises 3 beds: 2 for endoscopy and 1 for bronchoscopy. Patient ratios are 1:1. The equipment used is Olympus. The electronic health record system utilized is Cerner. The supervisor in this unit is Batanya Vixaysak. The patient population primarily consists of adults. Call coverage requires approximately 10 days of coverage monthly with a 30-minute response time. Common diagnoses and treatments are mostly routine, with specific cases for call involving GI bleeds, foreign body removals, bronchoscopy, EBUS, and navigation. Scrub color is navy blue, and there is a scrub machine available. No specific personality fit requirements are noted. Additional notes indicate that staff will be allowed to leave after all cases are completed daily.
