Job Description

A full-time paraprofessional and substitute teacher opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Rutland, VT, providing essential support for students across grades Pre-K through 12. This contract position offers a chance to work Monday through Friday, delivering both one-on-one and small group support to enhance student learning and development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized, one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs
• Assist small groups in academic and social-emotional development activities
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement instructional plans
• Support students behavioral and educational goals throughout the school day
• Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment for students at various grade levels

Qualifications/Experience:

• Associates Degree or higher required
• Valid Paraprofessional Certification
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred
• Ability to support and adapt instructional strategies to meet student needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Location:

• Rutland, Vermont
• Serving Pre-K through 12th-grade students within a public school setting
