About the Opportunity
Our client, a large, well-known electrical contractor with a strong national presence, is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee major projects in the Virginia / Washington, D.C. market. Position Overview
The Senior Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the full life cycle of large electrical construction projects—managing budgets, schedules, teams, and client relationships to ensure exceptional delivery. Projects will include mission-critical data centers and high-value commercial builds .
Key Responsibilities
Lead all phases of large-scale electrical projects, from preconstruction to closeout.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and field operations.
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Proactively address challenges, mitigate risks, and keep projects on track.
Mentor and support project teams and junior managers.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 5 years managing large-scale projects ($20M+).
Proven experience delivering data centers, mission-critical, or major commercial projects .
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
