Job Description

As a Senior Website Designer, you will be responsible for designing websites and digital platforms of various sizes that provide the optimal user experience in order to help clients achieve their goals while effectively reflecting the client's brand identity. You will also lead and inspire a team of digital designers, serving as a mentor, reviewing work, providing feedback and helping them hone their craft. Essential Duties & Responsibilities as Senior Website Designer Create compelling and highly usable digital experiences for our clients and the agency Use your strong pedigree in UX/UI design to create visually stunning and impactful digital experiences Act as the keeper of the look for our clients' brands, especially how they are translated to the digital space Communicate ideas clearly, utilizing any and all tools available to convey interaction and design ideas Effectively bridge business objectives across strategy and creative execution Develop and execute data-driven strategies to enhance client conversion rates and user experiences Provide clear direction and guidance to designers working on your project teams Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with project goals Accurately and efficiently scope design phases for projects Foster a collaborative and creative environment, encouraging the growth and development of team members Mentor and guide junior designers, helping them develop their skills and design perspective, ensuring the highest standards of visual design are met and maintained Requirements 5+ years of website design experience, with examples in your portfolio Agency experience preferred, with ability to juggle multiple client projects at a time Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and timely and helpful feedback to improve creative processes to keep work on budget and on schedule Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internally and to clients Proven leadership competence A strong working knowledge of the fundamentals - interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development, digital marketing and the creative process - as well as new platforms and technologies for the digital channel and related media Attention to detail and a passion for creating innovative work A positive attitude and willingness to improve your craft Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs A desire to embrace challenges This job description serves as an overall summary of responsibilities for the position outlined.
