As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Weekdays in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a major retail distribution center, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity to help to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to log information and may interact with alarm panels as part of your daily duties. Providing outstanding customer service and clear communication is essential, as you will address inquiries and assist individuals entering the location. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate for the location and post assignment.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
