Salesforce QA Engineer Our client is seeking a skilled Salesforce QA Engineer to support the development and delivery of reliable, secure, and high-performing custom software solutions. This position plays a critical role in validating and improving the quality of a Salesforce platform that supports key business operations within a collaborative, high-performing technology team. This role is a hybrid model in Sausalito, California. Design, build, and maintain automated testing scripts tailored for Salesforce environments using modern frameworks and tools. Develop and execute test strategies that align with the unique workflows of Salesforce, including automations such as Flows, Triggers, and Apex Jobs. Coordinate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully understood and appropriately tested. Participate in Agile development cycles to deliver consistent and timely QA support across sprints. Track and report on quality metrics, ensuring defects are identified early and addressed efficiently. Ensure releases meet high standards of accuracy, reliability, and security. Continuously improve test coverage and documentation of QA processes. Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in Salesforce QA automation and testing tools. Salesforce QA Engineer Qualifications Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing Salesforce-based applications. Experience applying best practices in software testing, including use of version control systems and code reviews. Solid understanding of quality assurance metrics and concepts like reliability, repeatability, and defect tracking. Preferred: Familiarity with Apex development and Salesforce-specific automation features. Hands-on experience using Salesforce query languages (SOQL, SOSL) and integrating with API technologies (SOAP and REST). Exposure to Salesforce DevOps tools, including CI/CD pipelines and tools like DevOps Center or Copado. Prior experience working within financial services or investment-focused technology environments is a strong plus. Experience with robotic testing platforms, such as Copado Robotic Testing, is highly desirable.
