Job Title: Production Supervisor - 2nd shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd shift Production Supervisor to oversee the production processes, manage employees, and ensure safety standards are met. You will be responsible for daily planning, maintaining quality standards, training staff, monitoring performance, confirming preventive maintenance tasks are completed, enforcing safety protocols, company policies, and rules, and ensuring production and distribution goals are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production processes and manage the team during the 2nd shift.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
• Conduct daily planning and maintain quality standards.
• Train staff and monitor their performance.
• Confirm completion of preventive maintenance tasks.
• Enforce safety protocols and company rules.
• Achieve production and distribution goals.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of industrial supervision experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively and work under pressure.
• Capability to read a tape measure and perform forklift training.
• High School Diploma.
• Experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, organized, and bright facility. Expect a minor chemical smell in specific areas. The role includes a 2nd shift schedule from 1/2pm to 9/10pm with a 10% shift premium.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
