We are seeking an experienced Prior Authorization Specialist to join a growing team supporting Home Health services. This role requires at least 2 years of recent prior authorization experience, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with home health or post-acute care authorizations.

The first 30 days will be onsite in Anaheim (must be a current local to the area) for training and transition, after which the role becomes fully remote (equipment provided).

Responsibilities:

• Submit and follow up on prior authorization requests for home health services

• Verify insurance benefits and coordinate with payers for approval

• Communicate with clinical staff to obtain necessary documentation

• Resolve payer issues or denials related to authorization

• Document activity and status in the appropriate EHR or tracking system

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recent prior authorization experience (required)

• Home health experience strongly preferred

• Familiarity with commercial and government payers

• Strong communication and attention to detail

• Must be local to the Anaheim area for onsite training period

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: $23-26 per hour depending on experience
