Excellent full-time opportunity for a dynamic Orthopedic PA/ACNP to join the Division of Orthopedics with Banner Medical Group and be part of our growing Sports Medicine program. This position is an Inpatient and Outpatient role and will be based out of Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and will provide coverage at our New River Trails and Sun City West locations. Our PA will see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic round on patients in the hospital, and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-organized, a critical-thinker, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.
Essential Functions and Requirements:
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of AZ
- Prescribing privileges including DEA license for controlled substance
- ACNP must have RNFA at the time of application
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
- New Grads accepted/Orthopedic Sports Medicine experience preferred
Practice Details:
- Full-Time | Monday - Friday
- Inpatient/Outpatient
- Provide first-assist as needed
- Will have your own patient panel
- Call: Practice Call Rotation, and potential for hospital call up to 1 weekend per month
