Job Description

Provide specialized physical therapy services to elementary school students in a supportive educational environment in Gadsden, AZ. This contract position for the school year offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on childrens physical development and daily functioning within the school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and interventions according to students needs and IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other school professionals to support students mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and IEP planning to contribute expert recommendations for student supports and services.
• Ensure all therapy services align with current best practices, school protocols, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience as a Physical Therapist or Assistant, preferably within school or pediatric settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork with students, families, and staff.
