Job Title: Medical ScribeJob Description

As a Medical Scribe, you will play a crucial role in supporting a dermatologist by accurately documenting patient information, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, and managing patient appointments.

Responsibilities

• Accurately scribe and document information for the dermatologist.
• Ensure exam rooms are cleaned and properly stocked.
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
• Assist in scheduling surgical appointments.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Strong typing skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically NextGen and EMA.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a Patient Service Representative is beneficial.
• Ability to handle a multi-line phone system.
• Competence in medical records filing and maintenance.
• Experience in collection of copays and cash payments.

Work Environment

This role is based in a specialty medical practice where you will be onsite five days per week, from Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 5:00pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
