Interstate Truck and Trailer Repair (ITTR) is a local family owned and operated company who is looking for a qualified Master Diesel Technician to join our growing team. *Responsibilities:*
* Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electronic problems
* Diagnostic abilities specifically Cummins engines, Detroit engines, Paccar engines, Volvo Mach engines and all make and models
* Ability to work on Farm equipment, Cranes, Forklifts, Buses, and be mobile when needed
* Perform general and detailed repair and installations of all trucks, engines, and components
* Provide mentorship, instruction , and advice to other technicians
* Required to operate diagnostic test equipment proficiently
* Complete all required shift documentation and report problems and concerns to the Shop Manager
* Attends training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description
* Uses ITTR equipment and resources safely and proficiently
* Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties

*Requirements:*
* High school diploma or GED
* Valid Drivers License (CDL preferred) (for test driving purposes)
* 5+ years of hands-on experience working with diesel engines and related systems
* Advanced knowledge of diesel and fuel engine maintenance & repair
* ASE Certification in PM, brakes, , Electrical, and /or ASE Master Mechanic preferred
* Knowledgeable in using service software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

* Weekends as needed
