Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Operator II-Strips to join their team. As an Operator II-Strips, you will be part of the production department supporting quality assurance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operator 

Location: Ames, IA

Pay Range: $20.00 hour 
Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30 PM 
Fridays are OT 

What's the Job?

• Responsible for producing quality products per the build signal.
• Gather materials and set up straightforward equipment.
• Maintain quality of products produced according to department standards.
• Comply with company safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
• Participate in team meetings for planning and problem-solving.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Six months of production experience required.
• Six months of mechanical experience or equivalent required.
• Ability to learn machine operations and perform data entry accurately.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
