Overview
We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager to establish and oversee core human resources functions across our ~100-person company. This role will work closely with department leaders and with our existing Accounting/HR staff to build strong processes for compliance, recruiting, onboarding, performance, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, handbooks, and compliance systems.
Manage employee lifecycle processes: recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and exit interviews.
Partner with managers across logistics, design, production, ecommerce, and sales to support workforce planning and employee relations.
Coordinate performance review cycles and assist with manager training.
Oversee benefits administration and payroll interface in collaboration with Accounting.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
Foster a positive workplace culture, engagement initiatives, and recognition programs.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations.
Qualifications
4+ years of progressive HR experience (generalist/manager level) in a 50–200 person organization.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor/employment laws.
Demonstrated ability to build HR processes from scratch.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable working as a sole HR practitioner, wearing multiple hats.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required.
