A school district in Nashville, TN is seeking a dedicated ESL Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year to support K-8 English Learners. This contract position involves working with approximately 15 students to provide targeted English language instruction and help them access grade-level content effectively.

Caseload: Approximately 15 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized, direct instruction tailored to meet the needs of English Learners across varying proficiency levels in individual and small group settings
• Adapt and differentiate curriculum to scaffold instruction, ensuring accessibility to grade-appropriate content
• Utilize a range of instructional techniques, including multimedia and technology, to accommodate diverse learning styles and language abilities
• Monitor student progress and provide ongoing assessments to support learning growth
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to align ESL strategies with overall classroom goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree required
• Valid ESL endorsement for grades K-8 in Tennessee
• Experience working with English Learners preferred
• Strong communication and instructional skills tailored to diverse student needs
