Salary: $180,000 - $205,000 per year
A bit about us: We are a global industrial technology and engineering organization supporting the pulp & paper manufacturing sector across North America. Our team provides both equipment and lifecycle services that help mills improve machine reliability, operating performance, energy efficiency, and product quality.
This role sits within a growing service division focused on delivering spare parts, rebuilds, upgrades, onsite/offsite maintenance, optimization programs, and strategic service partnerships with mills across the U.S. and Canada. The work centers on aligning people, process, and operational performance while driving continuous improvement and customer value.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity overseeing service operations, commercial execution, customer engagement, and internal organizational alignment across multiple regions and product groups.
Location: Position is based in Springfield, MA, but relocation is not required.
Travel: North America with occasional international travel.
Compensation: Competitive base + annual performance bonus + full benefit package.

Job Details We are seeking a strategic, people-focused senior leader to oversee Paper Machine Services operations across North America. This individual will guide business direction, service delivery, commercial alignment, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth and customer success.
What You’ll Lead
- Set and execute the strategic roadmap for the Paper Machine Services business.
- Oversee operations across multiple service sites, product groups, and service offerings.
- Lead cross-functional teams including manufacturing, field service, and commercial execution.
- Strengthen customer partnerships and represent the organization in key meetings and industry discussions.
- Partner with HR and Finance to build scalable service models and develop strong talent pipelines.
- Champion a culture that aligns people, process, and performance at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business planning, forecasting, and long-range service strategy.
- Ensure safe, efficient, high-quality service execution.
- Lead customer-facing initiatives that improve satisfaction and expand service value.
- Build and mentor high-performing, collaborative teams across the region.
- Manage full P&L responsibility, focusing on profitable and sustainable growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 15+ years in industrial manufacturing or services environments, ideally within pulp & paper or other heavy processing industries.
- 7+ years of leadership experience overseeing multi-site teams with P&L responsibility.
- Strong operational mindset and ability to lead transformation and continuous improvement.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust with both customers and internal teams.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
