Responsibilities Independence Physician Management (IPM), is a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc (UHS). IPM was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia. The Independence Physician Management (IPM) Shared Services Department is hiring a Data Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing program data, developing reports, and providing insights to improve practice operations and patient care within the IPM Division and Markets. This role works collaboratively with division and market leadership, staff, and applicable support departments to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects. Key Responsibilities include: Analyze data from various sources to identify trends and areas for improvement in physician practices. Provide recommendations based on data analysis to enhance practice efficiency and patient outcomes. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPI's). Collaborate with healthcare providers to understand their needs and tailor reports accordingly. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analyses Assist in the implementation of new programs and initiatives across the IPM market and within physician practices Support the development of strategic plans and initiatives for physician practices. Ensure programs comply with healthcare policies and regulations Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in healthcare analytics Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Liberal Arts, or Education. Some work/intern experience would enhance the skills and abilities necessary to perform this job. Some knowledge of hospital environments preferred Strong and thorough attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of business and clinical operations of a medical group practice Knowledge of applicable governmental regulations and compliance requirements Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau) As an IPM employee you will be part of a first-class organization offering:
