We are looking for a skilled Cost Accountant to join our client's team in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this PART-TIME HOURS ON-SITE long-term contract role with an opportunity to go permanent with our client with possible full tiem hours , you will play a critical part in analyzing and managing financial data to support the company’s operational and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing cost accounting and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed cost analysis to evaluate and improve financial efficiency within manufacturing processes.

• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements to aid in strategic decision-making.

• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial data entry and reconciliation.

• Oversee payroll operations to maintain compliance and accuracy.

• Review and process invoices, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and performance tracking.

• Monitor and report on manufacturing costs, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in all financial practices.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
