The Role

Aquarian Investments is seeking an exceptional Intern to join the Investments Team in the Summer of 2026. Aquarian is a registered investment advisor specializing in alternatives and special situation investments. The Investments Team focuses on evaluating a pipeline of new opportunities and managing a portfolio of executed investments across credit, real estate, private ABS, and private equity.

As an intern at Aquarian, you'll be a real part of the team, working with our experts and learning about the industry, our partners, and our firm. You'll have plenty of opportunities to develop new career skills and make meaningful connections working out of our New York City office. Based on your performance evaluation at the end of the internship, you will be considered to join our full-time Analyst Program once you've graduated.

Specific responsibilities of the internship include:

· Assist the team in performing due diligence, creating and building complex financial models, and preparing investment committee presentations

· Support the team in portfolio management activities including periodic and ad-hoc reporting on executed transactions

· Collaborate with other members of the broader Aquarian team to fulfill operations, finance, and legal requests

Development opportunities include:

· Sharpen Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

· Build knowledge of financial analysis, valuation, and modeling

· Exposure to various asset classes across the capital structure

· Improve analytical skills through industry and market research

· Learn effective professional communication (written and verbal)

· Interact with external partners of the firm through networking events

Basic qualifications:

· Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program and will be enrolled in the Fall of 2023

· Completed two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior)

· Be able to commute to our New York City office (5 days a week)

· Be legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely

Preferred qualifications:

· Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5

· Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields

· Demonstrated interest in investing and finance through coursework and/or extracurricular activities

· Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

· Pro-active, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven approach

· Flexible, self-motivated, and able to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with limited direct supervision
